Nanji Island Beach, selected by the Korea Tourism Organization in 2021 as the only non-contact safe tourist destination in Chungcheongnam-do for the summer season, is accessible by boat. Oeyeondo Island
Oeyeondo, selected by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries as an island more beautiful than flowers. Called Oeyeondo because it appears hidden in fog, far from the mainland, it can be reached by a 1.5-hour boat ride from Daecheon Port. Within its natural monument evergreen forest, various trees including centuries-old camellia trees grow so densely that the sky is barely visible. The coastline is full of attractions such as a pebble beach, Maebawi Rock, and Byeongpungbawi Rock.
