Nanji Island Beach, selected by the Korea Tourism Organization in 2021 as the only non-contact safe tourist destination in Chungcheongnam-do for the summer season, is accessible by boat. Visitors can enjoy healing trekking while admiring the natural environment and swim at the beach famous for its beautiful scenery.

Sapgyo Lake in Dangjin is a representative tourist destination and national tourist site. It features Korea's first naval vessel park, a retro-style amusement park, a nostalgic circus ground, and a sea park filled with beautiful night views. A lake park is also located nearby.

Oeyeondo, selected by the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries as an island more beautiful than flowers. Called Oeyeondo because it appears hidden in fog, far from the mainland, it can be reached by a 1.5-hour boat ride from Daecheon Port. Within its natural monument evergreen forest, various trees including centuries-old camellia trees grow so densely that the sky is barely visible. The coastline is full of attractions such as a pebble beach, Maebawi Rock, and Byeongpungbawi Rock.

Daecheon Beach is the venue for the world-famous 'Boryeong Mud Festival'. The festival is held every July at Mud Plaza, where visitors enjoy mud during the day and various performances at night, making summer in Boryeong a joyful experience. The sand at Daecheon Beach is the only shell sand in the East, and with its shallow waters and gentle waves, it's ideal for family beachgoers.

Muchangpo Beach is a special beach where a mysterious sea road appears. 2-3 times around every full moon and new moon of the lunar calendar, a 1.5km sea road opens from the beach to Seokdaedo Island. With its gentle slope, shallow water, and warm temperature, it's great for family beachgoers. The surrounding dense pine forests allow visitors to enjoy both sea bathing and forest bathing. The beautiful sunset at Muchangpo is also famous.

Chunjangdae Beach is a beach with ideal conditions for swimming, including a gentle 1.5-degree slope, shallow water, and calm waves. It is also one of the eight natural learning sites designated by the Korea Tourism Organization. Known as a popular family tourist resort, it features a harmonious blend of pine and acacia forests with fine, sticky sand beaches.

Gaeui Island is covered with primitive natural forests of camellia and oak trees. The landscape of rocky cliffs along the beach creates a panoramic view.

Mallipo Beach is a representative beach on the west coast, featuring silver sand, dense pine forests, and romance, where visitors can create long-lasting memories.

The wide white sandy beach stretching along the endless coastline and the well-developed dense pine forest create a dreamy and cozy landscape, making it a popular beach resort destination.

Jukdo is the only inhabited island in Hongseong-gun, named for the abundance of bamboo growing around the island. Located in Cheonsu Bay, it's a beautiful island where romance and nature are preserved in their pristine state.
