In Korea, there are two types of driver's licenses: Class 1 and Class 2.
A Class 2 license is required to drive a vehicle with 9 seats or less and a 125cc motorcycle, while a Class 1 license is required to drive a vehicle with 15 seats or less. Other types of vehicles require a special license. The driving test consists of a written test, a skills test, and a driving test, which are conducted in order. You can exchange your foreign driver's license for a Korean driver's license. However, if you are from a country whose driver's license is not recognized in Korea, you must pass a driving test to obtain a driver's license.
