Chungcheongnam-do Province has pre-released the newly rebuilt 'Chungnam Tourism Website' for the '2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year' so that it can be used before the Seollal holiday. This is part of the region's efforts to revitalize local tourism.

According to the province on the 26th, the focus of this Chungnam Tourism Website (https://tour.chungnam.go.kr) is on enhancing tourist convenience, and it was built reflecting the latest technology and design trends.

The Chungnam Tourism Website provides various digital services such as real-time tourist information, virtual reality (VR) cyber tours, and recommended tourist destination data. The website has been optimized for mobile screens so that users can conveniently search for tourist information while on the move.

In addition, social networking linkage functions have been added to allow tourists to check reviews and photos uploaded directly by other tourists, thereby activating communication between users and increasing the reliability of information.

The Chungnam Tourism Website will undergo a one-month stabilization process after the pre-operation period and will officially launch its services next month.

Kim Beom-su, Director General of Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau of Chungcheongnam-do Province, said, "We expect the revamped Chungnam Tourism Website to go beyond simply providing information and play a significant role as a Chungnam tourism assistant that communicates with tourists and adds to the enjoyment of travel." He added, "We will continue to lead the way in creating better tourism through continuous data quality improvement and service expansion."
