▲ I Am Also a Chungnam Resident Event

Chungnam Province held the 'I Am Also a Chungnam Resident, 3rd Edition' event for international students at Sunmoon University in Asan on the 28th.

This event was organized as a platform for communication to develop necessary policies for international students, starting from the recognition that foreign students residing in the province are also residents of Chungnam.

With the participation of about 500 international students enrolled in universities within the province, this event featured various programs including a communication community meeting for international students, a quiz show introducing Chungnam's policies and tourist attractions, a K-POP cover dance competition, congratulatory performances by overseas art troupes, and traditional game experience booths.

At the international student communication community meeting on this day, discussions were held on support policies for the quick settlement of foreign students under the theme "What student policies does Chungnam Province need now?"

Following this, a quiz show titled "How far have you been in Chungnam?" was held to naturally draw out international students' curiosity and interest in tourist attractions within the province, in preparation for the 2025-2026 Visit Chungnam Year.

Additionally, a dance competition and performances by art troupes from three overseas countries were held, receiving great responses from the participating international students.

Yoon Ju-young, Director of Investment and Trade Policy, said, "I hope this event has become an opportunity for foreign students to strengthen their sense of belonging as members of the province," adding, "I expect that their study experience in the province will become a good memory and that they will act as ambassadors for the province even after returning to their home countries."
