Welcome to the Pan-Yellow Sea Forum Website!

Pan-Yellow Sea Forum is an international forum held in Chungcheongnam-do since 2015 with the aim of transforming the Yellow Sea into a sea of peace and reconciliation, rather than confrontation and conflict, and promoting mutual prosperity and coexistence among regional nations.

From ancient times to the present, the Yellow Sea has served as a central hub for the exchange of history, culture, religion, and industry among East Asian countries including Korea, China, and Japan.

At its core is the ancient maritime kingdom of Baekje, and many cultural legacies of Baekje including the Geumdong Daehyangro (gilt-bronze incense burner), Tomb of King Muryeong, and Jeongnimsa Temple demonstrate that Chungcheongnam-do was a central hub for cultural exchange in East Asia.

This year's Pan-Yellow Sea Forum is being held in Buyeo, Chungnam, under the theme of "Bridging the Pan-Yellow Sea: Driving the Great Transformation in Marine Cultural Tourism" consecutively with the "2030 Great Baekje Festival," embodying the determination of Chungnam to continue the history of peace, prosperity, and exchange in the Pan-Yellow Sea region.

With a focus on promoting peace, pursuing a prosperous and clean future, and fostering a peaceful cooperative community in the Pan-Yellow Sea region, the Pan-Yellow Sea Forum will serve as a platform for communication that brings together government officials, experts, and citizens.

Thank you
